Hey everybody! As you all know the presidential elections are fast approaching. Because of this, we held our own local election at our clubhouse. Our Torch Club and LIT members voted on the two candidates, and in a land slide victory the team of Barack Obama and Joe Biden won!
Having young people mimic the voting process prepares them to be consciencious voters when they become adults. BGCH Kapa’a is proud to be helping develop young people into responsible citizens who participate in the democratic process.
